EF ZIN EXPERIENCES PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT

1. LEGAL NATURE OF THIS AGREEMENT

This document is a legally binding agreement between the participant (“I”, “me”, “my”) and Ef Zin.

“Ef Zin” means Ef Zin, its owners, directors, employees, contractors, facilitators, volunteers, partners, collaborators, and any hosting or associated venue(s) and their owners/operators.

“Experience” means the event, session, retreat, workshop, or other activity identified above.

By signing this agreement, I acknowledge that I am entering into a legal contract and giving up certain legal rights.

2. VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION & ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I voluntarily choose to participate in the Experience.

I understand that the Experience may involve activities that vary by program and may include, without limitation: physical movement, wellness practices, educational sessions, outdoor or indoor activities, use of facilities or equipment, excursions, and interaction with other participants.

I acknowledge that participation involves inherent and unpredictable risks, including but not limited to:

● Physical injury, illness, or allergic reactions

● Slips, falls, or other accidents

● Emotional or psychological discomfort

● Property loss or theft

● Risks arising from venues, weather, terrain, food service, equipment, other participants, or third-party providers

I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks, whether known or unknown, foreseeable or unforeseeable, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

3. HEALTH RESPONSIBILITY & FITNESS TO PARTICIPATE

I represent and warrant that:

● I am physically and mentally fit to participate in the Experience

● I have obtained any medical clearance necessary

● I am solely responsible for managing my own health, condition, and medications

I confirm that I am responsible for fully and accurately disclosing, via Ef Zin’s designated forms and/or directly, any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, dietary requirements, pregnancy, medications, or other relevant information that could affect my participation.

I acknowledge that:

● Ef Zin and its team are not medical professionals

● No information or guidance provided by Ef Zin constitutes medical advice or treatment

4. EMERGENCY SITUATIONS & MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

In the event of an accident, illness, or medical emergency, I authorize Ef Zin to take reasonable steps to assist me, which may include:

● Contacting emergency services

● Arranging transportation for medical care

● Contacting my designated emergency contact when reasonably practicable

I understand and agree that:

● Ef Zin cannot guarantee that my emergency contact will be reached before treatment is provided

● Medical providers may proceed with treatment in accordance with applicable emergency standards if I am unable to consent

● Ef Zin does not make medical decisions on my behalf

I authorize Ef Zin to share relevant information with medical providers and/or my emergency contact for the purpose of obtaining care.

I agree that I am solely and fully responsible for all medical, transportation, and related costs incurred.

5. CONDUCT, VENUES & PROPERTY RESPONSIBILITY

I agree to:

● Follow all safety instructions, rules, and reasonable directions

● Behave in a respectful, lawful, and non-disruptive manner

● Respect staff, facilitators, venues, and other participants

I accept full financial responsibility for any damage I cause to property, venues, or equipment.

Ef Zin reserves the right to refuse participation or remove me from the Experience if my behavior is unsafe, inappropriate, or disruptive, without refund (subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws).

6. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Ef Zin from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, or liabilities arising out of or related to my participation in the Experience, including but not limited to:

● Personal injury or death

● Illness or allergic reactions

● Emotional or psychological distress

● Theft, loss, or damage to property

This release includes claims arising from negligence, but does not apply where such exclusion is prohibited by law (for example, some jurisdictions do not allow waiver of liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct).

7. INDEMNITY

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ef Zin from any third-party claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

● My actions or omissions

● My breach of this agreement

● My violation of laws or rules during the Experience

to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

I acknowledge that each Ef Zin Experience has specific cancellation and refund terms communicated at the time of booking, which are incorporated into this agreement.

Unless the specific Experience states otherwise, the default terms are:

Events (short-format / single or few days):

● Within 5 days of start: non-refundable

● Within 2 days of start: 50% refund

Retreats (multi-day / destination format):

● Within 14 days of start: non-refundable

● Within 7 days of start: 50% refund

No refunds for:

● No-shows

● Early departure if not communicated prior

● Missed activities

9. FORCE MAJEURE

Ef Zin shall not be liable for any delay, change, or cancellation caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, severe weather, government actions, strikes, pandemics, border closures, or security situations.

In such cases, Ef Zin may offer rescheduling, credit, or refunds in accordance with the Experience-specific terms.

10. DATA PROTECTION & HEALTH DATA CONSENT (UAE + international compliant)

I acknowledge that Ef Zin will collect and process my personal data, including sensitive personal data such as health information, for the purposes of:

● Managing my participation in the Experience

● Ensuring safety and appropriate accommodations

● Legal, insurance, and operational requirements

I consent to Ef Zin:

● Collecting, storing, and processing this data securely

● Sharing relevant data with staff, facilitators, venues, or medical providers only where necessary for the above purposes

I understand that my data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including UAE data protection regulations and, where applicable, international standards.

11. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the country in which the Experience takes place, and the courts of that country shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless Experience-specific terms state otherwise.

12. GENERAL LEGAL TERMS

● Severability: If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in full force.

● Entire Agreement: This document and the Experience-specific booking terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding participation, liability, and refunds.

● Acknowledgement: I confirm that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to all terms.
